Solve Attachment Problems with the New SkyDrive Gadget

It’s been long known that large attachments and email systems are sometimes very much at odds with one another. Microsoft’s SkyDrive team is well aware of this and has created a helpful (and entertaining) new site to help solve attachment woes. AttachmentsSuck.com also highlights the brand-new SkyDrive Gadget, which is now available for Outlook in the Xobni Gadget Store.
If you find yourself constantly emailing attachments, especially if you have a set of materials or files that you tend to send over and over again, the SkyDrive Gadget is a perfect companion. In the Xobni sidebar, you’ll see all of your SkyDrive files. Just find the one you want to share, click “Email Link” and a new Outlook mail window opens with the link ready to email. If a file was previously private, you’ll get a URL for that file that is only known to folks that you send it to. Piece of cake!
